Genres are extremely tricky in this site. Supposedly they are added automatically when users use them on an album but we still don’t have cumbia as a genre, for example.
I got a few of my friends on AOTY to suggest “crust punk” as a genre to a specific album, but no luck so far. I think that’s atleast 4+ suggestions by now.
If using the suggest function is how genres are added, then is there a certain number of suggestions that needs to be reached in order for it to work?
Crust Punk has been added to the genre list! Must’ve been sometime today because I checked earlier. Would be good to know if this was manually added by an admin OR if it was added because of the “suggest” feature.
