NME weighing

Hello Rob

Lately I’ve been watching the NME reviews in the last 2 years (since they changed their website, newspaper and rating scale).

And I think the NME is not like the 2000s or 1990s and I think its weight should not be like other magazines like Pitchfork.

I think you should lower your weight to a normal magazine with a normal weight.

What do you think, Rob?

It’s probably worth thinking about.

How do you guys feel? Should all publications be weighted equally?

I think that NME in last few year 2015-2017

no serious review in comparation with other magazine P4k Spin

I don’t have a strong opinion about the weighting of reviews, but I think the rating scale from NME should be changed since they do 0-5 star reviews now.

Yes change system rating

This has been updated now, sorry for dragging my feet on it.

I think that NME with normal wight (Allmusic, DIY)

The difference for Sheer Mag is +0.1121 points due to weighting.

I’m sure Everything Now will even out once more reviews are added.

However, I’m still considering removing weights from any publication.
