-
Arcade Fire - Everything Now
-
Father John Misty - Pure Comedy

far too many, unfortunately
Everything. My favorite albums have either been from completely new artists (to me) or comebacks after a previous disappointment.
What really got on my nerves is the QotSA and Shabazz Palaces releases.
biggest disappointment was flaming lips
The Big Moon. it wasn’t terrible, but underwhelming given the huge build-up. also an object lesson in how a major corporate label will homogenize an indie sound to mainstream it. I also have fears about the new Wolf Alice, but first two singles are great … so far, so good.
That too
Timber Timbre broke my heart
Agree on all of these, and will add:
Jamiroquai - Automaton
Clark - Death Peak
SOHN - Rennen
Actress - AZD
Linkin Park - One More Light!!
Nathan Fake - Providence
RIP, loved the new actress
Just dont listen to it.
Same, singles looked so promising!
I’m really glad to hear that!
I just cant, especially the first half of the album. I really wish I did though
by far:
flaming lips
father john misty
arcade fire
sheer mag
HAIM
phoenix
gorillaz
arca
unfortunately, so many disappointments
Mostly just Arcade Fire and Gorillaz for me. Really not digging the new sounds from either of them even though they prove to still be competent musicians.
Fleet Foxes and Kendrick were disappointments.
alt-J and Arcade Fire were just plain bad.
HAIM
Zara Larsson
alt-J
Arcade Fire
