this would be different then the display name, and would obv be limited by changing it once every three months or whatever. letterboxd and rym already have this feature as a premium perk, and it would rlly be nice since i dont want to be forever tied to dumbposting when i was 14 on other sites 
Yeah his would be super useful, or else I’m probably gonna have to ask to have my account deleted. My current username has some very unfortunate connections to nazi shit that I don’t want to be associated with, and changing your display name doesn’t do anything - your username is still visible on your page!
@Rob Any chance of this being added in the future - and if not why? Even just as a one time change for donors. I know a lot of people on the main site who would like to change their username. And looking through the forums it seems it has been requested a few times. I’d be willing to put in a second donation on top of my existing one for the opportunity to change mine.
