Too any artist pictures appear blank which seems no professional and honestly makes the site look bad in my opinion.
Could we vote to either have public domain images of artists approved and not have a (no photo) placeholder for those that do no have a photo. I feel like it would be much better to not have any photo placeholder and just have the artist name on the page.
Any thoughts?
I agree with this. I just saw the thread for suggesting users add artist pictures and it’s clear that @Rob does not go through them since there are many artists with no picture still. It’s too much work for just one guy add all of them. Either we have approved public domain images or, as you stated in a previous thread, have their album as the default picture.
Or even allow a select few individuals to have this power. There’s so much that can be done wrong with giving the power to all people, but analyze those who have been reliable with contributions and dedicated to the site to pick up some of that burden.
