Hi guys, I made an account on here to add my suggestion for a cool feature that some people could benefit from. I think that members of a community should be able to add a “country of origin” to an album or an artist, so people could for example, when searching for albums, could filter out countries that they want to see albums from. So there still wouldn’t be genres with countries names in them (ex. polish rock), but rather a country assigned to an album, maybe in a place where there are labels and genres. This could be all community based, so there’s definitely some flaws and possible errors I guess, but over time I believe this could be helpful if someone wants to see, for example, top french hip hop albums here, by user score. They could just choose a country in a filter designed for it. Hope this isn’t all over the place and a bit pretentious, I am fairly new to the community so I hope I don’t come across as someone who doesn’t understand how the site works and what is it’s purpose lol.
