Favorite Radiohead lines/lyrics

I’d like to hear what Radiohead lines or lyrics resonate with people. I was listening to them on shuffle today and it reminded me how almost every song of theirs has a legendary line.

I remember the first time I listened to Kid A, I was 14. Tons of lines on there are legendary, but the one that completely knocked me out was from Motion Picture Soundtrack. “Stop sending letters…letters will always get burned” Every time I hear that line I get emotional and I don’t know why. To me, it’s one of my favorite lines in music.

Honestly, one of my favourite Radiohead moments ever is during Lucky with Thom’s delivery of the line “It’s gonna be a glorious day” after the first chorus. It’s like the climax of the whole record for me. Such a chilling and perfect moment every listen I give it.

Lyric-wise? Nearly every bit of Videotape absolutely kills me. I’m also quite fond of “Oh no, pop is dead, long live pop, one final line of coke to jack him off.”
