Why are my submitted corrections declined?

anyways I think it would be appropiate for admins to leave a message as the reason why.

Genre is not something you make corrections for. Hit the plus button besides the genres displayed to suggest new genres and upvote/downvote those already suggested.

are those even helpful? I did submit some genres for certain album like a year ago and it’s still blank

I am not sure. I seem to recall someone asking @Rob to explain how genre submissions worked previously but I don’t think it was ever explained.
